recipe // amish friendship bread

This bread is absolutely delicious!!! Bread is my favorite thing to bake, and I’m pretty sure that this was the first bread recipe I ever made. It’s super easy and is very good! I’ve made this recipe quite a few times in the past and each time it turns out wonderful!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup to 1 1/4 cup chocolate chips, raisins, or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease two loaf pans. Combine the 1 t. cinnamon with the 3 T. sugar. Sprinkle into the well-greased pans.
dsc_3581Add the remaining ingredients to a bowl. (Mix with plastic or wooden spoon)

Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake for 1 hour or until done.
Makes two loaves.
